Pain is a global health problem. One in five people suffer with pain every year. The annual costs of treating pain are greater than the costs of treating cancer, heart disease and diabetes combined. 43% of Americans receiving massage reported they did so for health conditions such as pain management, injury rehabilitation, migraine control, or overall wellness. 88% of consumers agree that massage can be effective in reducing pain.
