Understanding the Role of Inflammation and Pain

Pain is a global health problem. Inflammation is how the body responds to injury. If the natural part of healing is left unchecked, inflammation leads to additional tissue damage which can lead to more pain. Massage therapists who complete this class will be able to understand pain in regard to the state of healing. Therapists are prepared to figure out what will be most helpful for their individual clients. This course provides 3 CEs which includes the Michigan LMT license renewal requirement for 1 CE Pain and Symptom Management.
